On June 6, 2018 the management consulting industry celebrated the first anniversary of the ISO 20700 publication, one year after the release of this standard. The international consulting industry met their stakeholders to discuss the status and how to proceed with implementing ISO 20700:2017 worldwide within the different sectors of the consulting industry, as well as with client representatives and organizations, academia and other stakeholders.
This event was organized and hosted by ICMCI The International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (initiator and sponsor of the development of ISO 20700), together with Austrian Standards (representing ISO).
Industry representatives, as well as international representatives of customer organizations and stakeholder of the consulting industry, were invited to this event to discuss the status and future of this standard.
Representatives from all over the world, Canada, Europe, Middle East, China – in total more than 20 countries, presented and discussed their viewpoint on ISO 20700, also addressing the needs and expectations of the different regions worldwide to make ISO 20700 successful and recognized by the stakeholders of the consulting industry.
